When a businessperson applies for a multiple visa(Short-term Business : C-2)
because of his/her frequent visits to Korea, by presenting substantiating
documents for his business, the chief of the Korean consulate may issue a
multiple visa with prior approval from the Minister of Justice by clearly
stating the reasons on the application form.
[Annex 10] A table of Multi-visa Issuance for a Group of Russian
Traders
| Authority of Visa Issuance mandated to the chief of the
Korean Consulate Abroad for a Group of Russian Goods Buyers(excluding
Uzbekistan) | ¡á A buyer who has visited Korea
more than 8 times, has no illegal record in Korea and regulary enters Korea to
buy goods.
¢º To issue a visa, it is required to present substantiating documents(such as
receipts) for applicant's purchasing Korean products during the previous year.
¢º Before the issuance of a visa, it is required to strictly examine the
applicant's connection with the Russian Mafia and suspicion of overstay in
Korea.
¡á A person who is in a higher position than an executive director, sales
manager or regular staff who has worked for a company which has purchased more
than U.S $ 300,000 from Korea.
¢º To issue a visa, it is required to present substantiating documents for the
applicant's employment in a company and purchasing record.
¢º Before the issuance of a visa, it is required to strictly examine the
applicant's connection with Russian Mafia and suspicion of overstay in
Korea.
¡á A Short-term Business(C-2) visa of 1 year validity, a 30 day period of stay
shall be issued. |
