인터넷 서신 안내

인터넷 서신은 접견인원 또는 횟수 초과, 원거리(해외거주) 등의 사유로 접견이 어려운 가족, 친지 및 친구 등 민원인이 수용자에게 인터넷을 이용하여 서신을 전달하는 민원서비스입니다.

Internet letter service delivers the message for those who are not able to meet the detained for reasons such as the limit on the number of contact people and the number of meetings and overseas stay.


※ 개인정보보호를 위해 전달완료된 서신은 바로 삭제됩니다.

※ 서신 내용중에 특정사업에 대한 홍보성 글은 반려될 수 있습니다.

  • 인터넷서신함 이용대상

    • 접견인원초과, 접견횟수초과, 원거리 거주, 기타사유 등으로 직접 방문 접견이 어려운 경우
    • 국내 입국 사실이 있는 국내외 거주 외국인(재외동포)이 직접 방문 접견이 어려운 경우

  • 이용방법

    1. 실명확인 절차를 거친 민원인이 해당 수용자 정보(수용기관, 수용번호, 수용자명)를 확인한 후 인터넷 서신을 작성하고 발송합니다.
      • 주민등록번호(외국인등록번호, 국내거소신고번호)가 없는 외국인(재외동포) 민원인은 여권번호 실명확인 창을 이용해야 합니다.
    2. 처리 결과는(서신작성시 요청) 발송자(민원인)에게 개인메일로 통지되며, 전달완료시 바로 삭제되오니, 중요한 내용은 개인적으로 문서화 해서 보관하여 주시기 바랍니다.
    3. 서신작성시 언어는 한글과 영어만 지원하며, 한글은 어법에 맞지않는 단어나 문장은 표현되지 않을수도 있으니 참고 하시기 바랍니다.
      ※ 제한사항
      1일 1통, 입력 제한시간 30분, 분량은 A4용지 1장 이내
      서신 접수시 시간차이가 있을수 있으니 30분정도 여유를 두고 접수하시기 바랍니다
      파일, 사진, 그림 첨부 금지
      발송한 서신은 수정 또는 회수 불가(단, 접수중일 경우에는 나의민원조회에서 삭제 가능)
      작성 언어는 한글 또는 영문으로만 가능(기타 언어사용시 바르게 출력되지 않을수 있습니다)

  • Internet letter service delivers the message for

    • the foreigners living in Korea or overseas (overseas Koreans) who have entered Korea before and who are not able to meet the detained person

  • How to use

    1. The members who signed in to the Korea Correctional Service ( Ministry of Justice) or non-members who completed the real name confirmation process check the detained (detention facility, detention number, name of the detained person), and write a letter.
      • The non-member foreigners or oversea koreans who don't have a certificate of residence(foreign registration card, domestic residence number) should use the window of real name verification with his or her passport number
    2. The service result is informed to the sender(who requested the service). (ex. service completed, discharged, delivered, service rejected)
      ※ Points to consider
      one letter per day, 20 min. of time limit, one page of A4
      No file, photo, picture attached
      Delivered letters are not corrected or returned
      Letters should be written in Korean or English

  • 인터넷서신 이용시 유의사항

    • 인터넷 서신은 수용자 서신 업무처리절차에 따라 수용자에게 전달됩니다.
    • 수용자는 인터넷 서신 발송이 불가능하며 우편 서신으로만 답장이 가능합니다.
    • 인터넷 서신은 그림파일, 펜팔 및 기타 법령에 저촉되는 내용은 전달이 불허됩니다.
    • 민원인의 주소는 수용자(수신자) 및 해당 기관에서 열람이 불가하므로 답장(일반서신)을 원하시는 분은 서신 내용에 주소를 별도로 기재하셔야 합니다.
    • 인터넷 서신의 수령 결과는 나의민원조회 또는 전자우편으로 통지받으실 수 있습니다.
    • 외국인등록번호(거소신고번호)가 없는 외국인(재외동포) 민원인은 여권번호를 통한 실명확인을 위하여 최소 1회 이상 국내 입국한 사실이 있어야 합니다.
    • 인터넷 등 시스템 사정으로 내용전달이 지연될 수가 있으니, 긴급한 사정으로 신속히 연락을 취하고자하는 경우에는 접견, 전보 등을 이용하여 주시기 바랍니다.
    • 인터넷 서신은 수용자에게 전달완료 처리된 이후 삭제됨을 유의하시기 바랍니다.

  • Internet letter Information

    • Internet letters are delivered to the detained according to the arranged work processes including the censoring process.
    • The detained are not allowed to send the internet letters, they are allowed to answer the Internet letter only by post.
    • Internet letter that include picture file or the contents that violate related laws are not delivered
    • The address of the sender is not informed to the detained and not available at the detention facility. If the sender want to receive the letter in response, the sender is advised to write the address in the letter.
    • The Internet service results is notified only by e-mail.
    • Foreigners(overseas Koreans) who do not have the foreign registration number (domestic residence number) need to have the record that they entered Korea before once or more for the real name confirmation through the passport number.
    • Delivery can be delayed due to the system error. If there is a need for prompt contact because of urgent matters, visit or telegram would be better.
    • Internet Letters are allowed to be deleted after being delivered to the detained.
