<2025 Special Voluntary Departure Program for Undocumented Foreign Residents>

1. Period: December 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026

2. Eligibility: Undocumented foreign residents who wish to voluntarily depart Korea during the designated period.

   * You are not eligible for this program if: 

    (1) You entered Korea illegally (e.g., by crossing the border unlawfully).

    (2) You used a forged or altered passport.

    (3) You failed to comply with a previous order of departure.

    (4) You become an illegal resident after the program’s effective date (December 1, 2025).

4. Voluntary Departure Procedure

    (1)  Report Your Departure 

      - Submit your voluntary departure report between 3 and 15 days before departure.

        (In person) at your local immigration office/ (Online) www.hikorea.go.kr

     (2) Final Check Before Departure

      -  Immigration officers at airports and ports will verify your criminal record and wanted status.
