page2. Aiming to nurture promising global talent’s professional capabilities, Corporate-Customized Internship (K-Trainee) Program will be piloted for two years! Newly Launched! Corporate-Customized Internship (D-4-2K) Visa. Period of Stay.Internship period: Initial Up to 6 months. Extend Extendable up to 1 year. *Program expansion to be decided after the two-year pilot program


page3. Aiming to nurture promising global talent’s professional capabilities, Corporate-Customized Internship (K-Trainee) Program will be piloted for two years! Confirmation of Visa Issuance Application: Apply at jurisdictional immigration office of the inviting company! Limits of Invitations: Invitations allowed within 10% of the regular workforce per business site! Yet, not to exceed 100 interns at a time! Scope of Activities: 1, Return home country after completion of internship. 2, Employment outside of the internship restricted.


page4. What are eligibility requirements to participate in Corporate-Customized Internship (K-Trainee) Program? Customized University Students. Requirement 1: University students* in third year or above supported and trained through industry-academia cooperation between Korean companies and local universities *Youth under 29 years of age, including those pursuing master's or doctoral degrees. Requirement 2: TOPIK Level 2 or higher. Documents to submit: Application form, passport copy, documentation proving the company's industry-academia cooperation and sponsorship, certificate of enrollment, TOPIK score report, internship plan, etc.


page5. What are eligibility requirements to participate in Corporate-Customized Internship (K-Trainee) Program? Subsidiary Professionals. Requirement 1: Professionals employed by local subsidiaries. Requirement 2: Those participating in internships at the Korean headquarters in 77 occupational fields with Specific Activity (E-7-1, 2) status. Documents to submit: Application form, passport copy, certificate of employment, internship/training plan, etc.


page6. Eligible Countries for the two-year pilot program, where more than 150 Korean companies are in operation. Vietnam, China, Thailand, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines. Based on the number of companies operating in Asia, as announced by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). END.
