Minister of Justice Meets with UN High Commissioner for Refugees

- Agreed on the Importance of International Solidarity and Responsibility-Sharing Amid Global Refugee Crisis -

□ Minister of Justice Jung Sung-ho met with Filippo Grandi*, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17th, at Gwacheon Government Complex, to emphasize the importance of international solidarity and responsibility-sharing and to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in addressing global refugee crisis. 

 * (Filippo Grandi) Appointed as UNHCR High Commissioner in January 2016 and served for 10 years. Paid courtesy visits on the Minister of Justice three times (2017, 2018, 2022) during his tenure.
