About the scheme
The Immigration Contact Center is a multilingual information platform that offers, pursuant to the Framework Act on Treatment of Foreigners Residing in the Republic of Korea, counseling on civil affairs and necessary administrative information in various languages to help foreigners residing in Korea adjust to society.
Available Services
- Counseling on immigration affairs and living in Korea for foreigners
- 3-way Interpretation Services for the central administrative agencies, local governments, public institutions and non-profit civic organizations in dealing with foreigner-related work
- 3-way Interpretation Services for the Community Lawyer System for Foreigners
How to use
- Counseling service hours
- 09:00 to 22:00 on weekday (After 18:00 pm, services are available in Korean, English, and Chinese)
- Dial 1345 anywhere in the nation using landline or mobile phones

- ARS Information
- Press 1 : For location and jurisdiction of each immigration office, and service hours
- Press 2 : For visa application results
- Press 3 : For foreigners’Retirement Report and Workplace Report of Overseas Koreans on Work and Visit by fax
- Press 0 : To talk directly to a counselor
- Multilingual Consultation
- For multilingual telephone counseling, dial 1345, press the number for your language following the ARS information, and press * button.
