I am Yoon Woong-jang, the director general of Crime Prevention Policy Bureau.

The Crime Prevention Policy Bureau conducts tasks that are directly related to the safety of citizens, such as Electronic Monitoring Supervision(EM), probation, prevention and rehabilitation of juvenile delinquency, and treatment of mentally ill offenders.

Recently, we have developed an electronic monitoring device with enhanced damage prevention, expanded special investigation of electronic supervision for high-risk offenders, and revised the Act on Electronic Monitoring to meet our citizens' expectations and adapt to rapid change.

We will fully supervise violent crimes, such as sexual crimes, to strengthen the safety of our people and create safe society from crimes by providing effective policies.
