Education for Guardians

Education on methods to understand children’s maladaptive behavior and aid in their healthy growth provided to persons subject to the order for education for guardians or guardians of inmates who voluntarily wish to participate in the program

Education Target (period)

Compulsory Education

• Guardians for whom education was requested by the school, court, and prosecutors’ office (5-8 hours)

Voluntary Education

• Guardians of inmates receiving alternative education or counseling and investigation (2-4 hours)

Educational Content

• Understanding the thoughts and behaviors of adolescents, correct skills for conversation between parents and children
